That Vast Repository
to the azure
arms, fingers outstretched
in trial
in jubilation
in plea, invocation
flung upward, in hope
a quick, a favourable, rejoin
falls to earth
from where, we assume, have faith
a vast repository
of unknowable truths
resides
saving us from
our incessant folly
