Conundrum
Life’s a mystery
contradictions abounding
pitching out, however meager
our notion of control
bliss, brethren to joy
uplifting one and many
buoying souls
upon sullied waters
tears at the heart
instills grief copiously
till those even granite fashioned
wail, weep, batter the earth
ah but day to day
both subtle and evident
minute and grand
life imbues freely
